English lessons
What is your aim? Cambridge or IELTS exam, understanding academic articles or networking at conferences? Is speaking English an inseparable part of your work? Would you like to work on your grammar, vocabulary, or would you like to become a confident speaker? I create lessons that reflect your individual needs.
In the classes, we can use National Geographic textbooks, Cambridge English exam preparation materials, and online resources (British Council, BBC). Based on your interests, we will work on expanding your vocabulary by focusing on concrete themes (using Quizlet to record and practice new words and phrases).
For you to make progress in learning the language, you will be presented with the opportunity to work with authentic texts and audio materials as homework (e.g. TED talks, materials from the UK Guardian or the New York Times). You can also practice grammar or write shorter texts.
Contact with authentic language and the opportunity to create language - by speaking or writing - on topics that are relevant and useful to you is, in my opinion, the key in learning a language.
Level of students
I teach English from A2 (pre-intermediate) to B2 (upper-intermediate) level. I teach C1 and C2 level grammar.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons take place in my home (Brno-střed) or online - (Skype, Google Meet or Zoom, for example).

Lesson cancelation
If you cannot attend a lesson, please inform me at least 24 hours before the lesson. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, I will invoice you in full for the missed lesson.
